Life in U

I've never talked about the places I worked in all this time, but today, somehow....it just make me wanna write something on my experience here in this company. It may not be some big hoohaa or anything, but is somehow or something I never felt the before while working in other company.I've been working in U Mobile for a year plus now.

I still remembered very clearly the moment I've 1st stepped into this company, I feel the sense of security and a sense of being forever young in here :) . Everything in this company is just so nice, the environment, the design of the company, the people, deep down I told myself I really wanna give a try to work here and thus by God grace I landed myself in here :)

Working in U, I have come to knew more friends, friends that are always around for U wheneverU are in need regardless or what your problem might be. We can hangout for late night parties over the weekend, get together to yum cha (mamak or cafe), travelling, exercise....is just too many too mention and the people are just marvelous to hangout with. Maybe the picture below might just tell you how fun are this people to hangout with :P

This is the 2nd group of gorgeous and fabulous people I met, and somehow the 3 of us grow quite close and are almost like brother and sister.

Memorable night out

- Backdated post - Saturday night out

Chun Mun invited me 2 weeks back to skybar, we both wanted very much to go there, hence, is perfect as both never stepped into skybar until last saturday.

He came and pick me up from Cap Square (a newly opened shopping mall opened behind my college) after my class. We headed straight to Skybar although he made the reservation at 7pm, since it was still early, we though it would be good to go there and enjoy the drinks and environment while chit chatting away. Skybar was indeed a nice place, but whether is a good idea to have a swimming pool in the middle of the of the bar is one things (u can go swim inside with ur favourite bikini if u dare too :P) haha...anyhow.....he booked a table near the window, overlooking KLCC, is indeed a very nice view....33rd flr high, cooling air blowing.

For the drinks, he ordered a glass Mohetoes and I ordered Margarita for the evening, and we both chatted way till 8pm before decided we would leave for dinner at KLCC as Skybar has nothing much to eat, and of cos, we would never forget to camwhore abit.... but sadly, I didnt take any picture with my own camera as the colour effect had some problem to it, but still thanks to Chun Mun, who also bring his camera, we both capture each other picture before a foreigner sitting to a table next to us decided to help us to capture one picture together. Thanks to him :)

So, when we had finish our drinks, we left for KLCC foodcourt for our dinner, and we were walking the whole foodcourt deciding what to eat. Seeing the food there somehow is hard to decide what ones actually want to eat, as everything is what we always had. So....at last after 2 rounds of walking, we landed ourself to a western food stall, which is somehow the western food is partly from The Ship. the food is delicious and filling, service of the staff is good, and we also got a gift each from the staff....a handphone chain teddy bears :D (the pink teddy is wearing LV skirt though....haha)

Cute right...... hehe...anyhow....Chun Mun gave me his, hahaha.....after our dinner ended, which was still early, we deciding our next plan, clubbing!!! Since it has been long time he ever stepped into a club, thought of bring him to Blanc at Heritage, but decided not too.....cos when I was there few days back, I did not quite enjoy it as it was full of Malays, so in the end, we make up our mind to go to BBC (Borneo Barok Club) behind Pavilion.

I was there the night before, and they have live band playing.....The band for the night is the same band the night before, and of cos, they are good in singing, and thank God, he enjoyed live band.... :D, and thanks Chun Mun for bringing me up, I really enjoyed the time with You, and really make my day :D

Of cos, I can't wait for the more coming outing we would have, really glad to have known you!

O.....and I got a pressie from him when he was travelling to China (if I remembered correctly), is so thoughful of him ....is a white scare with tree flower pattern on it....is really nice

My 1st Christmas & New Year Countdown

Well, since I haven't posted on my Christmas countdown post due to the error while uploading the photo....I decided to just merge it together with my New Year Countdown post and pic will be up later on.



So, I'm gonna talk about my Christmas countdown 1st. My initial plan was suppose to go Genting as planned together with my dear colleague from work, but during late morning she told me that her car is giving her problem and she was not able to drive it up all ways. So we thought we might have to spend Christmas down in KL instead...in the end she asked me to give her sometime as she checked with her sister to see if her husband can drive us up together since they are also planning to go up for countdown. Well, at last we received a happy news saying that we will be going up (Thanks to Fennie brother in-law) and will be making our way there at 9pm.

To cut the story short...we reaches Genting at around 10pm (plus looking for a parking which took us 1/2 hour) and making our way to the Starbuck as we still had plenty of time before it was 12am. After ordering and chit chatting sitting outside the Starbuck, finally at 11.30pm we make our way to Genting Highlasd Hotel side there and joined in with the rest of the people for the countdown. We waited and waited.....camwhore and camwhore and observing the different kind of people around us until 12.10am....there is NO FIREWORKS!!!! So.....disappointed as we are....when we were making our way in....darn...people were blocking the doorway even though they see people are trying to make their way in and people behind keep pushing just for the fun of pushing...



As when we had make our way in the next place we headed to was Safari Club inside Genting. Safari is one of the most happening club in Genting, and of course the entrance fees for the night is only RM35 for Hotel guests and RM45 for Walk-In guest and it comes with a bottle of Calsberg beer. It was my 1st time entering a club....yea You Heard Me Right! 1st time in my whole life and on Christmas I finally step foot inside a club! Well....I don't feel quite good at 1st, with the loud music banging, and people pushing around for going in out. But the beer got me cool down quite soon and with Fennie help, I finally too...dance my way together with the beats of the music. I do say...is quite a experience to me, but also something new...as it helped me to release stress and I dances some unhappiness I had in my heart away. :)



Well...for New Year eve le wor.....I took a 2nd 1/2 day off from work and headed my way to 1 Utama to meet up with Fennie and Hooi Choo for countdown....We thought we would jus countdown at 1 Utama, but later after that one of our dear Ex-colleague Ai Lee called and say she will be in The Curve for countdown and then we will be partying away at Laundry Bar.

Laundry Bar was another experience for me. It was memang fully packed with people espeacially after countdown. We went in there and ordered a bottle of Black Label, it somehow tasted quite good to me as it was added with Coke. I guess that this were the only time I ever drank so much, err... I think I drank like 5-6 cups???? and with the last 2 cups which I drank straight down because I was like suddenly feeling not too happy. My friend realise it and try to stop me from drinking, but I still continue drinking....mind telling you I do and still a little awake and know what is happening around. The party ended at 3am....knowing I was drunk and my friend sended me home whereby I just took a hot shower and fall straight to my bed and slept right up to 12pm and with a sharp pain in my head....



So I guess this was how I spended this year Christmas and New Year countdown....

and I want to say thannks to my friend who know actually why I drank so much to get myself drunk, and also to apologies to you girls for the trouble causes. I'm happy to have you gals around in times like this, a shoulder to cry on and comforting words to calm me down. I do feel better now.
